the red pipe hits but it is the most pain in the ass to install and get tightened down, just go factory

to add constructively to my last post, from what i have read dry pipes are for fine tuning upper rpm range race applications and wet pipes(red pipe, factory mod/ltd), are easier to get dialed in, simpler, low rpm application pipes. correct me if im wrong

I ran a red pipe for quite a few years. If you mount it correctly it usually will hold up well. It is a nice cheap way to bump up the power if you cant afford a factory pipe. I have never blown a coupler or ripped out any threads. Don't have any experience with a dry pipe...

I love my Riva Red.
Easy maintenance…basically zero maintenance. The initial install is a bitch (like that damn SJ factory type4 blue pipe). You need a short or cut 12mm wrench and add the stud kit but after that you are set for years.
I’ve had a factory mod pipe on a heavily modified blaster and it just did not hit hard on the bottom end. The Riva Red is two parts…factory limited and mod pipes are 4 to 7 parts plus couplers.
