Have to love the enthusiasm and the desire to learn. Its people like this that puts a smile on your face and makes you enjoy being part of such a good sport.Hello ,
My name is Spencer and I am new to stand up jet skiing. I started this
summer when I was thirteen years old and currently fourteen. I have an
Kawasaki 750sx that I saved up and bought this year. It is currently for sale
and I am looking for a super jet. I started stand up jet skiing when my dad
bought a kawasaki 550 and we both rode it for a while and it was lots of fun.
It kept on having problems and I really wanted another so i bought the 750.
Because of me doing this my dad saw how fun it was riding it and he bought a
kawasaki sx-r. His friend rode it and was amazed of the power. (he is the one
that sold me the 750) and then he bought an sx-r also. I had a streak of 23
days in a row going at one point riding a standup. We are having really bad
weather here in MN so I am not riding very much. Right now I can do
tail-stands, spin out to tail stand, turn sub, fountain, hockey stop, and
working on a stab and am close to having it. I could probably get a good one
after a good weekend of riding. . I am looking for some advice and I am
probably not good enough now but maybe in a year or so would be looking for a
sponsor. I would represent Jazz Motorsports on the river with stickers talking
to people about it and I am trying to find ways to get to some competitions.
The closest comp to me in in Michigan but there is a riding group two hours
north of me in Minneapolis and trying to find a time to get up there and ride
with some people who can teach me how to do some more stuff. So far I have
been self taught and just watching videos over and over and pausing to try to
see the technique but that is very hard. I hope to try maybe a roll next year
to further progress my riding. Thank you and any responce would be great!
