Freestyle What pipe dope do you use?

I just tapped my exhaust manifold for dual cooling an was wondering if I just use normal pipe dope on the fittings or is there I high heat pipe dope that I should be using? And should I use tape with it or will the paste be enough? Thanks

i use blue locktite, you'll be fine with just the dope.

Not much purple here in Nebraska. Got some sour diesel. But I will get some 1211. Thanks for the info
