What size aluminum tubing for beach cart?

I'm looking to make a new beach cart out of aluminum square tubing. The local hardware store only has 1 inch square tubing with 1/20 inch thick walls. Is that sufficient enough to hold a superjet?

I dont think so. I think my aqua cart is 3/32. Do you have a metal supermarket near you?

If you're trying to make it out of aluminum from a local hardware store it's going to cost you an arm and a leg. Probably more than it would be to buy a complete one. You need to locate a supplier and go from there

FYI, my TBM is the lightest with the thinnest material of any cart I've seen to date and it's 3/32. Plenty strong enough.

I did mine with 2 inch square .120 wall.
