That's a pretty odd size. Industry standard is 6x1.0. Are you sure about that, I've never seen it? Fine thread is .75 and I've actually never seen that either, but it's out there, and as far as I know 1.0 is course thread, is there a courser thread? I don't know this application, it just strikes me as odd.

M6 is all I needed to know. i don't care about the thread. I use socket head cap screws to hold mine on - and needed to look up the diameter of the head.
