are the high torque starters worth the money? are the sbt ones any good? i saw an aqua torque for $244 and sbt's high torque is $129. are they worth the extra cash versus a standard oem or even an ebay starter?

I had good luck with an aqua torque on my old SN but since I discovered Jetmaniac I have been buying good used OEM ones without any problems.

OEM only, imho. But the DB electrical starters on ebay are very good,.too. $149

I had 2 Aqua torque going bad on my xc1000cc, and I shiched to OEM never had problem again,

Starter and Bendix always oem

Jetmaniac has some relly nice oem's

Go OEM dude, every thing else is a waste of money. Greater Yamaha has OEM starters for $287.12
