What the hell is wrong with this thing

OK where are all the superjet gurus? I'm having a problem that i can't solve to save my life. I guess I'll start from the beginning. Bought an empty 2006 sj hull and started gathering parts. Motor is a 62t bottom on 61x topend. Dual 44s. After I got it put together and took it out it ran perfect for about 10 mins then bogged really bad the more I rode it the worse it got. I thought it was getting water in the motor so I took off the exhaust and noticed a gasket on my pipe (Coffman sizzler at the time) was leaking. Replaced it and took it out ran perfect...for about ten mins... So I replaced gasket after gasket thinking it was leaking water... So after about 6 gaskets I said screw it and bought a new pipe (r&d wet pipe) took it out same thing. So at this point I knew I wasn't chasing the right problem. Did a little research and some people having the same issue had bad stators. So yesterday I replaced the stator with one I had on my shelf. Took it out today. And samething. I even drove home grabbed an extra cdi I had and replaced it. Still does the same thing. I'm lost. If i let it set over night it runs fine till 10mins has to be engine temperature related??? I already removed temp sensor from ebox Anyone have any idea??? This thing is driving me absolutely crazy..

Is it possible that the gas tank breather is plugged?

I actually checked that today. The oneway valve blows freely from both ends I'll replace that tomorrow. But can't imagine that being the problem.
That is EXACTLY your problem! a one way valve isn't supposed to flow freely from both sides, just one. Your gas tank isn't holding any pressure. Simple fix, has happened to most of us!

Preferably get an OEM style one. Either from a yami dealer or jetmaniac. The ones in autoparts stores will work, but don't release the pressure at the same PSI that oem does on a really hot day.

So what's the reason it runs for a short period of time?

It can Affects the fuel pressure and mess up the way your fuel pump is working. A motor can run fine without a working check valve. It can one without one at all. It's more common to have an issue from one that doesn't flow at all than one that flows too much in my experience.

Dispite money wasted, hopefully that is your issue and you can move on with life.

I'm thinking coil. 10 minutes and poorly runnings sounds thermally induced more than anything. This happened to me a few seasons ago and it felt like the ski would hit a rev limiter before half throttle. You could try cutting the wires back and get lucky before dropping money on a coil, too.

I had a similar problem, though not exactly. My fuel filter in the carb was partially blocked. It would bog down a few min into riding then it wouldn't run. I would let it sit and after an hour or so It would run again and the same thing would happen. Would run for a few min then bog down till it wouldn't run. Eventually it stopped running at all. Worth checking????
