SX/SXi/SXi Pro What to do with 550 SX need some help!

friend asked me what we can do to his 550 sx kawasaki..

i told him i would find out some stuff, get a parts list of what we can do and let him know.. wanted to see if i can get your guys help.

I am a Sit down guy.. I won a GPRXP (Gpr body rxp engine) I have no problem working on this ski, I just don't know parts well, and what to do..

can you guys help me. He asked for better acceleration.

You can put a 750 in a 550 hull. It's been done but I wouldn't do it unless you are going to put a 650/750 pump in it too, which requires a whole lot of fiberglass work.

They make conversion bedplates and whatever else is needed to do it. You can usually find a complete motor on here or PWCtoday for a reasonable price to do it. I haven't done it myself, but I know of a few skis that have had it done. I think there is/was one done on PWCtoday for sale and maybe a motor with a conversion plate for sale.
