What year is this superjet?

That boat looks totally stock. The 93 was the last model with the 650. They are a super-reliable bullet-proof machine if taken care of.

$2,000 is at least double what you should pay. Does it come with a trailer? There aren't a ton of folks from Wisconsin on this board, but there are new skis for sale every week on here - better skis at better prices.

Superjet are hard to come by here. A stock 650 SJ I believe went for $1500 on Ebay last summer. But if you want to find a good price on a good ski you will have to travel. Though I know someone posted for sale a 2005 for $3700 on PWCToday.com

Dude, figure out what you are willing to spend/how far you are willing to travel.

On here, I bet for $2k you could find a 701 Square, with plate/grate/impeller, maybe a pipe and head, within a day trip.

A strong 650 would be merely adequate. A good stock 701 would be fine, but it won't rip your arms off. In 99% of cases, only get a 650 if its a killer deal, or you've got a little mechanical savvy - the 701 cylinders are a direct swap onto that 650 motor.

Will a 650 or 701 have enough power to carry a 6'-5" 245 pound guy? Well or enough power to have fun on.

I've ridden a 650 square that was stock and I did just fine on it. I'm 6' and I was just about 280 at the time. I'll work for you however you will want a 701 eventually, then you'll want a pipe, then a bigger carb, higher compression, . . . Once you get a ski the list will never end.
