300/440/550 What's needed to do 44sbn swap

Ok I'm already looking for more power!! This ski is an 85 js550 recently rebuilt top end and all new gaskets, I have the 38mm bn on it now, but wanting a lil more juice. It already has a full mariner exhaust and is poorly tuned for it and could use a rebuild. I have decided after reading on here to just go with a 44sbn. My question is, what all is needed besides the actual carb, I've read that you need a spacer on manifold to get fuel pump away from head, but what about throttle cable, choke cable, will original 550 stuff work or do I need a different ones?? I really need to order a new throttle cable anyway so if I can just get the one for the swap first I think it would be better. Also, I don't mind tuning and tweaking carbs, coming from a 2stroke dirt bikes background.

All you really need is the spacer, stock throttle cable is fine but remove the choke all together and put a primer

It depends what the end of your throttle cable looks like, an 85' should have a ball on the end, which will work on SBN44.
You will need either a OEM Kawasaki 44 intake and a billet spacer, OR you can get an aftermarket 44mm intake manifold like the BCW (http://www.ebay.com/itm/BCW-KAWASAK...ash=item3acca6e894:g:iiEAAOSwNRdX2wi6&vxp=mtr).
