Whats the cheapest class to get started in?

A friend and I really want to start racing. Whats the cheapest class to get started in?
I will not attend all the racing events, just the ones on the east coast.

I checked some websites but really cant find what Im looking for.
Im looking for a competitive class for stockish jetskis.

I already have a wb1, a sn sj and a rn sj so I would like to race one of those skis.

Anyone have any advise and how to get started?

If I had to guess, I would say beginner/novice stock.

Checkout Sport Spec ,it's a newer class and has some of the largest turn out on the eastcoast. Your blaster with some addons is all you need. The rules are on pwctoday under racing. John

Sport Spec baby! You can find blasters for cheap on craigslist, the guys in the class are a blast to ride, good inexpensive fun!

Without a doubt Sport Spec is the cheapest class to get into racing. You can buy a bone stock HX or a well equiped Blaster,X-2, or hurricane and be very competive for around $1500-$2500. No big class out there comes close to that price range. lol - some guys spend more $ on a handlepole for their ski then I have invested in my whole spec Blaster!
