Super Jet whats the hose that comes off the mid-shaft housing?

Grease hose for midshaft bearings

Their is a small hose to lube the bearings on mine, it has a zirc fitting on the other end

yep. pack your midshaft full of bearing grease every month or two.

It does not grease the bearing, it allows you to top off the grease between the two rear seals which further helps keep water from the semi-sealed bearing (has removable dust covers that can allow grease repacking ).

On a serious note, you can easily blow out seals by over packing. 2 squirts a year is good.

I was looking at an Ebay housing and it had one, checked mine and I don't have the hose , another thing to put on the winter checklist.
