What's up with the Facebook connect?

from what I know, it's an application just like any game or whatever on facebook and you can go into application options to remove it.

I didn't have time to mess with it last night, but I did login and link it to my account and haven't noticed a difference.

The only thing I can Tell is that it takes you tou your FB Page. Thats about it.

Ok, it ties in with FB's login. If you're logged in to FB and come here but aren't logged in, you can just click the Connect button and it logs you in. If you then log out here, it will log you out of FB. That's not really a benefit of any kind to me, however in the next update to vbulletin there is supposed to be more functionality.

With the upgrade today, the Facebook connect has a ton more functionality.
