Freestyle Where did all the 66e builds go?

where did all the 66e builds go? anyone have a link or two to a build using ATS_aaron's pipe? The new pipe is nice for sure. I'm wondering what hulls it has been successfully fit into as the chamber is huge compared to the original wdk pipe

There are tons of guys running B-pipes on PV dasa why would that be any different than this?
An adapter from a 66e motor to a 61x b pipe manifold won't work. The spacing is way too far off and you don't have much room to make up the difference and still fit the pipe in the hull. I've seen an adapter to a kawi manifold for a 66e. maybe the spacing is better.

Well as some of you know I'm attempting it again. http://www.pwctoday.com/f100/full-yamaha-800-x2-build-illinois-360326.html

I'm not sold that the new pipe will fit in anything. Thats why I'm looking for as many pictures of the new WDK pipe in different hulls as possible.

The motor in my X2 is set back as far as possible right now and the original WDK pipe barely fits. The new one that I bought from ATS_aaron has a huge chamber, but is simply a work of art. Fitment is a foreseen issue now. But I won't be home until Friday evening to mock everything up though with the new pipe.

If the new pipe doesn't fit think a few inches can be taken off the chamber to make it fit? or just run the old WDK pipe and save the new one for a BOB next winter

Ya I have thought about it. but I'm not the one doing the glass work. my Buddy is. I may need to ask him

as of now probably won't cut the new pipe at all.

They are either happy with what they have or dont realize how much power they are missing with a B-pipe. Any expensive engine upgrade should also get a dry pipe but they havent caught on with common riders. Nobody talks about power and thrust, only the size of their carbs and engines.

I ran a 14/18 concord with in my SJ and it worked well, I would bet it could push more pretty easily but that was a nice match, it wasn't able to slip it anywhere with the right intake grate.

I would possibly look into a 155 pump swap, you will likely have considerably more power than I did. If you can afford it a mag pump would be the ticket. Let's see some pics of that exhaust setup. The 155 would be a good middle ground, otherwise find a nice tall radial blade impeller (swirl, concord, hooker) often tall props like those go for cheap because they are less desireable. A deep grate will help as well (I used an R&D aquavein). Impros can also help you pitch up.

I was sticking with the 144 for the possibility to run in the new sport spec class legally, if that became what I wanted to do with it. I will update the other thread with a pic of the exhaust tomorrow. Ive been trying Dave for a couple weeks now also, no luck. I bought 2 hookers from him already this year so I might go that route. its just expensive

I bought my 14/18 concord for like $75 in perfect condition, seen a couple others go for dirt cheap as well.
