Been using the ones from Walmart for over 2 years... They're about $2-$3 a piece. Maybe there are better but they haven't let me down unless they get totally jammed with crap.

I'm sure some will not agree, but I was told to not use paper element filters.
My experience is that the paper will eventually clog up the internal filter in the carb.

I believe the metal screen filters are best. Not sure if that's what anyone has discussed here, but wanted to throw it out there.

Like said above. F20004 is the purolator filter that fits in the stock hold. It works very well!!!!!

I used to run the metal ones but have since changed to high flow paper. The metal ones clog way too easy. I have not had a problem with gunk in my internal filter from paper filters thus far.

The purolator is a good way to go as well!

I get mine at motor cycle shop for about 2 bucks each they have the brass filter inside, never an issue.
