i just got footholds put in my ski and but know i don't know where to put the fire extinguisher. any idea? i have a 94 750sx

I just put mine in between the gas tank and the straps, It actually fits VERY snug and cant come loose. I did have to cut some foam off but I had done that for my old exhaust setup.

yea i dont know why we need them, i just dont want to get caught with out one so i think im going to try and put it by the gas tank. thanks a lot.

The point is so that you can use it to put out someone else's fire. I actually had to give mine to a random boater one day to save his boat. I'm with you joele, it's cheaper to just do as they ask and skip the tickets.

yea i guess that makes sense, but yea there is nothing you can do about it, its the law.
Bolted to the hull. Drilled a hole in the clamps, inserted a T-nut, and ran a bolt through the top of the hull into the T-nut. It was the simplest, cleanest, sturdiest way to mount it I could think of. Not quick release, but good enough to make johnny law happy, and I have been checked twice!
