Which handle pole?

Well I have been looking for a used pole but nothings is available that I want. So it looks like I might as well buy new.

RRP Pole or X metal ?

Who is more likely to have it in stock and ready to ship?

It seems like Xmetal is cheaper, and people seem to be very happy with them. I was going to get one a few weeks ago after my pole broke, but they were over a week out so I just fixed my stock pole. I'm thinking about buying one anyway though because I know my stock pole will break again...

That is where Iam at. Broke the rivets twice over the weekend. Now I want something more permanent.

Xmetal is the way to go. They're the best looking on a ski, and very strong.

X-Metal is bulletproof but it is pretty heavy. That's what I would go with because it comes with a lifetime warranty which can't be beat. Just make sure to red locktite the pole nuts, I've lost quite a few of them and the only way to get them is from x-metal!

The adjustable one grows with you and your riding style, I highly recommend it. Last pole I'll ever buy! Worked great on my sj, and with Rrp riser bars it's long enough to use on my superfreak.

Wait for the Xmetal pole, it's better looking and in the meantime reinforce/ wrap your stock pole with some fiberglass cloth and resin...mine been holding up to over 1 million stabs...

Reinforce around the base? Got a thread with that. That may be what I have to do.

I have the cloth already. Can you use the polyester resin on the pole? Shoot, might as well find some epoxy and do it right.

Polyester resin will work, mine did... if you sand it some and rough it up...yes wrap around the base and the pole with the same strip of cloth..I did two layers...

Yeah, I have the ATP ride plate ,water box and the nozzle.Top notch stuff fo sho. I have yet to do the nozzle. Looks like this weekend I will bring the skis home from the lake and do allot of things I have been putting off due to not having the tools.
