Which head?

Hey I just bought a riva red exhaust for my wb1. Was wondering what head I should get.... Ada head seems to be the head of choice but I want one that will accommodate the heat sensor. Any recommdations? Thanks

I do not think there is a head any more that will accomodate the sensor. The old Riva Billet head would, but they are hard to get and the domes even harder. Majority of us remove the sensor.

Another common option is to shave your OEM head. I'd have to look back in my book but I believe .035" is common. I would confirm the # with some engine builders before removing material.

Riva racing can mill the oem head and adjust the squish to compensate then you could run the sensor at the risk of a cylinder cracking on the intake side because of no girdle. I have done this successfully before on a blaster and it gives 180 to 185 compression.
Better to forget the sensor, run a girdled ADA and keep your eyes on the pisser flowing.

Yes Ada definetly sells the bracket for the red pipe.i bought one 4 weeks ago.ive owned in excess of 8 blasters without the sensor and have never had a problem.just watch that pisser

The ADA exhaust bracket replicates the mounting locations from an oem head, so if exhaust works with an oem head it should work with ADA.
