300/440/550 WHICH RESIN sticks better to a SMC js550 hull? polyester, epoxy, vinyl ester?

hi, i have a js550 project ive been working on, been using polyester on most things, pump cavity, rockered nose, nose peice. an old fiberglassing expert told me its all the same thing, that polyester is weaker but lighter than epoxy, but i should have no problems with it sticking. (hes had alot of fiberglassing fumes get into his head though lol) and others tell me the polyester will peel off in time. the 550 hull is made of like fiberglass and plastic mixed, SMC (sheet molded compound). ive got epoxy resin and cab o sil on the way too, but just what sticks best? ik vinyl ester is supposed to stick better, but epoxy is the strongest structurally. so give me some answers!!!!! only comment if you have a real answer lol not an opinion! i need some expert advise, everybody seems to have something diffrent to say.

ive heard, but its expensive, ive got epoxy on the way for all the rest of the glassing, but of course, ive spent most of my money and built pretty much everything on this ski with polyester, so i really need to know if the polyester sticks.. if not, i need to go over and increase the bond seam with epoxy.

Not as expensive as doing it twice.

US composites has good adhesives for great prices. West Systems has great adhesives but they're pricey.

For the price of us composities you can get trinity t3 epoxy resins which are stronger, contain a uv protectant, and cheaper than west or us comp.

After using t3 I will not use any other system. If you want to try it out I have an extra one of their repair kits. Great for small jobs, quick repairs, and a good way to try a far superior epoxy product.

Their resin is cheaper than the 3 to 1 ratio one gallon of resin+a little less then a quart of hardener for 70$?

Maybe I screwed that up. Cheaper and stronger than west systems.

Us composites is just cheap quality. You get what you pay for sometimes.

Ahh okay.

What is wrong with US composites? I haven't heard anything bad about it. Tons of people here use it and haven't had a problem from what I understand. I've used it quite a bit and it's been just fine. I buy everything from us composites..
