from 96- 07 is the same exact thing. nothing changed.

from 08- present it is a smidge wider and the pump sticks out an extra 2 in.

go with a pre 08.

In your other thread you are talking about building a motor, so you might want to consider a squarenose too if you are looking for a bargain. They have the exact same hull as a roundnose but the deck is different. I would personally go for a round, but a square is a great option that you can pick up cheap.

Early RN hulls have proven themselves. The later black hulls seem to crack the easiest. It could be as simple as Yam changing the SMC mix a little over the years.
