Which tubbies will fit a Superfreak Badass -4

To not have chine walk I'd definitely mount them off of the lip a little. 1/2 is a good measurement. Also placement lengthwise might play a part in this as well. I'd also like to know which tubbies will work aside have the same ski.

Not sure if Tom21 still sells these tubbies any more they are 8 years old now. I cut 3/4”off the top ,reshape and put a layer of glass over the foam and glued them on. Only freak I’ve seen with tubbies but there’s isn’t to many on the west coast lol. I have been very happy with them high speed turns are improved adds buoyancy resists pearling when doing bottom turns in surf . They probably make a hard landing when jumping a freak even harder but the tradeoff works for me. Prowatercraft makes tubbies that may fit a freak better as they bend easier to fit the hull. The destroyers I tried were to stiff.

tks for the pics and the info.....So I have gone the loooong way round....I managed to make a mould from those very stiff Blowsoin Destroyer 2s which don't fit the Freak, but its the best I had. Now I have the proper shape of what will be my Freak's tubbies and I have shaped the edges so that they all follow the profile of the hull (very small mods actually) . Initially I will mount them with at the 3 bolt holes to get them flush fitted and then test on both FW and surf riding...If all good I will glass in and respray the bottom half.....Next up will be the Rickter FR1.
