Who else is sick right before Daytona?

I have sinusitis - so much pressure in my head it feels like it's going to explode, and a continuous headache for 4 days that just won't go away :headache: Got a steroid shot last night and a dose of antibiotics, so I should be OK for the ride.

Who else is trying to get healthy in a hurry before they inject salt water up there nose for three days straight?

My hands are all banged up from rushing in trying to finish my SJ for Daytona.

I have lost sleep trying to manage my day job and working on my SJ for Daytona.

Tonight or tomorrow I plan to get high off contact cement because I have lots of Hydroturfing still to do.

I will spend a day alone water testing and pulling my carbs on & off 3 to 5 times trying to get it "dialed-in."

I think this qualifies me as "sick" but if I can finish it in time....priceless.

I'm actually feeling pretty darned good after major surgery last week. Doc says I can't ride for another two weeks, but I *can* race go-carts!

I really should grow up one of these days..........

I'm getting ready to travel for 5 hours, to Daytona when the ocean is 15 minutes from my house, so that I can ride with 200+ other people I met on the internet...

i think i have the same thing rickster has, driving 900+ miles straight through, taking a 5 day weekend from a job i started a month and a half ago to ride with 200+ people i know from the internet and in person


yeah i think that qualifies me as sick this year too

I think I have a little bruise from riding the Daytona zone today without a wetsuit because it was in 80's. Hopefully I can pull myself together enough to go back and ride again tomorrow:biggrin:

Neilmed sinus rinse works great for me, have not had bad sinusitis for a year or so.

Just picked up an antibiotic for this damn ear infection. Something about 49 degree water at 10:00 at night that my system doesn't agree with. I hope every body gets better for next weekend.

well i still have black eye from a not good BR...
was very good surf day but got hit bad on the head should have gone to ER and get some stiches but like tricky said chicks dig scars
