Freestyle who makes the lightest pole??

out of these?which is the lightest?

stock(rn)
a/c racing
mmf
xmetal
WDK
rrp
bun freestyle
atp
goose

which is lightest? lets assume they're all -4 or all the same length

Goose pole is around 6lbs also i believe. Never stripped mine down to weigh it officially. However, as far as i know they are no longer in production. If i had the cash, and needed a new one, i'd get a superfreak...so hawt.

Understand that the SF pole weight includes the chin pad (because it's part of the pole), and the bushings.
All you add is steering.

Tem doesnt make that pole anymore...he has a new style.....doesnt look quite as good but its definatly superfreaky

get goose off that list..........junk...looks like 2 fenceposts welded together

WDK doesnt make poles anymore....but they ARE the strongest ever, Ive owned 3 and still have one on my primary ski

XMW sexy, but average....looks the same as Matt E's pole...

MMF is only for squares......is now AC

RRP not light at all, but feels light with a spring

cant beat a stock pole for weight and flotation, but definatly not very strong.....great for surf though if youre not a pole breaker

no experience with bun, atp or titan....they are probably all along the same weight as RRP

thats the info i was looking for i guess.ive heard time and time again,a stock pole is lightest.but matt E's SF pole is frigging sick.i would pull the trigger for that pole if it fits a SJ.roundnose. so i guess if im looking for max weight reduction, stick with the stocker?

matt's pole is a carbon Xmetal clone....it will fit a SJ perfectly, but like I said...Tem doesnt make it anymore............his NEW pole looks very similar to an XFT carbon pole

ANY of the poles listed above will fit a roundie with the possible excpetion of the MMF...........

all aftermarket poles on the market today will fit a 96-present superjet

and yes..the stock pole is going to be the lightest (superfreak is the closest in weight, but is 10x stronger)......stock poles can be great but they need shortening and reinforcement

Hey Idoc....the pole I got looks much more like an XFT Pole than XMW. It has the somewhat triangular profile and integrated chin pad. So I do think that's the pole he makes now.

And are you sure the stock pole plus chin pad is lighter than 6.5 lbs? :clown:

that sounds like the new style...with the integral chinpad....ive got a couple of stock poles here new take offs but no scale..

whenever I run a stock chinpad I always strip the foam and cut it WAY down then turf.....weighs like a half a lb when ready to go..

one thing I wil say...I have heard it from jetmaniac and lucas many many many many times.......that switching to a full carbon pole was about the best mod ever (outside of a huge engine and mag pump of course lol...)
