Why no love for the blaster dry pipe?

FP (and riva) talks this thing up like it's the best thing they've got going for the blaster but nobody seems to run them. In fact, it seems like people generally despise the things. What's the story behind this?

That pipe Sucks @ss. If you have a ski that should rev above 6800, it is a turd. If your ski runs at or below 6800, it's ok - but then your ski is a turd then.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA D@mn Joe, what do you really think???

And, yes, that pipe pretty much sucks. A factory pipe B pipe is about the best pipe you can get for a stock to limited Blaster. If you are planning on racing, try to find yourself a Speedwerx, they are pretty much the best out there. Especially if you are going with a big bore or stroker.

I have this pipe, and the problem I had was keeping the coupler from ripping.

It ripped as far as speed went, and out did the limited B pipe on the same setup top speed wise, but it just barely fit in the ski, and was hard to keep coupled up tight.
