Will acetone hurt cured epoxy resin???

I'm applying DupliColor bed liner to the bottom of my ski and I have some resin and filler in places where I needed to fill some scrapes and gouges and fairing in the tubbies and some fiberglass.

The bed liner consists of 11% Toulene, 14% Acetone, 10% MEK, 7% MIK.

Will applying this right over my resin/filler be a bad thing? Or do I NEED to prime? I already have it rough sanded and this stuff stick best to rough surfaces, so if I don't need to prime, that would be awesome.

I'm not sure how it would hurt it. Acetone acts as a hardener like MEK, only not as good. If you put too much MEK when mixing, the resin cures faster and heats up much more because the solvents are curing faster. I tried adding acetone to resin that wasn't mixed properly to help it cure....didn't do anything and I had a huge mess.

You should be fine to paint without primer.

Yep, using bedliner on the bottom. The reason is that it's harder than paint and cheap ($20 for a quart). I'm hoping it will hold up to beaching better. This stuff is smooth once applied, it does not have the rubber chunks and is pretty thin, but I've been experiementing in tiny batches, and I'll be adding more acetone to it to help it lay down easier.

I know if you use acetone to clean the areas you are about to glass with epoxy resin, you need to make sure it is 100% evaporated, or you risk it not sticking. So I was just worried about it softening my fairing compound.

Thanks for the answers. I'll post up pics when I'm done.
