Will the blowsion bilge bracket work?

The ad and drop down menu say 95 to 08 so my guess is no......

It's a little confusing with header stating -95 and older though...
Maybe give them a call for clarify it

My guess is no.

The brackets for the 90-93 style midshaft are hard to find now. Used is the only option I believe.

Or buy the one for the larger midshaft and hack it up and drill new holes.

Apparently all the ones I have are the same so there's not much to look at.

Perhaps someone else can chime in and confirm but If I remember correctly, the orientation of the holes is different on the older ones or maybe the pattern is just slightly smaller due to a smaller midshaft housing.

I have it in my head that all you have to do is elongate one of the holes in the newer brackets to make it work with the older midshaft housing mounting pattern, similar to how this dual bracket is modified...

I think there is a way to rig the new style up on the small style midshaft. Couldn't say how exactly without having one in front of me.

Want to sell one of those singles in the pic though? My new hull is a 94 so it uses the larger midshaft.

Scuff the hull and pump basket and clean with acetone. Then epoxy down. Works like a champ.

I had a buddy buy the blowsion bracket... The rivets they supply didnt even fit through the holes in the bracket... i had to open the holes up with a drill bit. The money blowsion charges for their products and they won't even do the research to supply proper rivets or drill the holes bigger to fit the rivets they supply. That's what I call bullsh!t and yet another reason they'll never get another dime from me.

Also, no, the bracket won't fit your ski.

I got a RN bilge bracket that attaches to the midshaft and used it in my square nose for a while. I did have to drill a hole in it so the bolt pattern would fit, but it will work after that :p

To help clarify since I just did this... I got the dual Blowsion from OCD to make it work on my '90 SJ... no point in having a new one you know you have to modify.

The lower hole lines up close enough to use the stock bilge mount screw with a big washer and need to drill a hole for the only midshaft bolt that is anywhere close to the bracket. I wish it was more than that little screw for the lower hole but it feels fairly solid anyway. The upper hole is just floating there with nothing close to it...

can someone please show me where that mount goes. i bought kit and have no idea where the bilge mount bolts to or tell me

If you have a round nose, you remove the 2 bolts that hold the midshaft on, and the screw that holds the stock bilge. Then put the 2 bolts back in with the bracket in place. My bracket had a new location for the stock bilge, but i had to ditch the stock bilge for dual cooling. And yes, the two bolts on the left side of the boat, but not to be too much of a dick, if you cant figure out the orientation of the bracket, you should find help before working on your boat. Its a very easy and straight forward install.

For the square nose, well the entire thread has been about that.
