Will this chipped sleeve hurt the cylinder?

I plan to sawzall out the exhaust ports, and then send it off to be bored.

make sure there isnt a hairline crack, in the sleve, going up from the chip. they can be hard to see till after a hone or bore.

youll be fine with taking a rasp and smoothing out then chamfering.

dude, you dont use a sawzall to fix your chipped sleeve. im not sure where you learned pwc mechanics, but anybody that knows anything about engines in general knows that a sawzall is only used to deck a cylinder.

no way man, decking requires VERY precision work.

I only use a belt sander for that type of work.

there ya go spoutin off on things you know nothing about. belt sanders are how you make case halves fit better.:rolleyes:
