Wiring question- Zeel install on 62T from Wave Raider

I have a zeel im putting in and had some creative thoughts but wanted to check and see if anyone had some glaring issues or experience to steer me away from what I was thinking.

The picture shows a couple wires I had questions about.

1. The red wire (yellow circle) from the rectifier I assume doesn’t get used anymore (correct me if I’m wrong). I should cap that somehow?

2. The pink wire (purple circle) is for the temp sensor and I was thinking about using that to run to the battery since I won’t use it anymore. Just cut the sensor off and reuse the wire.

3. The red wire from the start switch circuit has an extra wire that went to the gauges on the couch it came from (teal circle). I was thinking I could fuse that wire and run it to the Zeel. It’s already after the 10A fuse but I was thinking about putting the 3.5 amp fuse after that to the zeel.

I personally like number 3 as the option for the second power supply. Does anyone see any glaring issues with that?

Power (red) comes from battery post on solenoid, thru a fused link and ALL red wired daisy chain together. Do Not run mutiple power feeds,
likewise, all Grounds connect together. The zeel does not recognize the overheat protection (pink) Just tape it off,
brown is for curve switch if your running additional curves, grey is to run a remote tach. Follow the wiring diagram.
if you try and play around like your suggesting, your risking damaging not only the cdi, but other electrical components as well.

Ok that makes sense. I'll cap/tape off the multiple power sources already there from the factory and just utilize a separate one for the zeel. Thank you for your help!
