Blaster Wont start?

I have fuel, spark, and 180 compression. I can't even get to start when I spray carb cleaner in plug holes. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Starting fluid and carb cleaner ....is not ur friend when it comes to two stroke motors ...it makes them lean scares the pistions ...hold ur hand over the carb and see if gas comes ...

Held hand over carb, has good suction, Gas comes out. Diaphragm is good. Could it be my riva cdi?

Is the plugs getting spark ...take them out .put them on the head .make sure there touching metal some were on the head if not ur going to burn up the cdi ..the plugs have to be grounded some were ..i have seen many ppl burn up ..cdi not grounding them

If u think the cdi is good ...it might be in ur kill switch ...i have pulled many eboxs off and checked cdi and it was in the kill switch ..u can crank and crank and if the stop button is not up it will never start ..cuz it is killing the spark

I agree on both .of what ur saying ..if u still have spark and getting gas in the carb ..dude I have no clue .then ..if u get spark the kill switch is fine and the cdi might be ok but how weak does it look ..the spark .light u up if u touch it or a lil 9 volt ..like u can put it on our toung ...how wet r ur plugs when u try to start it ..might be flooding ..how old is the gas new old ..whats the mix 40to1 50to1 ..if ur plugs r wet dry them off or get new one try again to start if nothing try pulling the plugs again and see if there wet ..if so ur needle and seat r leaking by and flooding it

Had the same thing on my superjet one day. Everything was there but I had hit the primer to many times and was running heavy on the oil since I had just put in a new top end. It was flooded. I took the plugs out hit the start button for alittle bit to try and run out of some of the gas. Then just let it sit for like 30 mins with the plugs out to let it evap and just had to give it throttle while hitting the start button and it came to life slowly.

I have this very same issue right now. I had no spark, so I got a new CDI, problem solved, then I had S.S.S issues and no spark again. So I tested everything, sent my coil and S.S.S to JetskiSolutions and just got it back lookin all fancy. I put everything in and was excited to see that I had spark and the engine was turning over again. But it won't fire up! It tried too for half a second, the plugs were kinda nasty so I put new ones in. I think in my excitement I may have (Hopefully) flooded it. I have been waiting to ride! What else could it be? Last time I was out it just quit on me while cruising along at 1/2 throttle....

Yes, that sounds exactly like my issue. Mine too has sputtered for a couple times. Each time was so brief I wasnt sure if it was just me hitting throttle. Have you tired turning gas off, holding throttle open and cranking?

I started to pull more of my ski apart, not really with any direction ha. I figured I might find the culprit. I should have a buddy from local ski shop coming to check it out today. P8240011.jpgHere is how pistons looked after maybe 5 gallons on new build. I think all the carbon is from premixing with 927. I have heard from another guy that his looked same, new build w/ 927 as well.

check your plug boots, those old black boots regularly fail
did it backfire at some point? if so, key may be worth checking
you may have slipped time

mine was doing the same thing or well similar except it would hit everynow and then, it had spark but it was weak i also had riva cdi, then the waterbox exploded and landed on the roof of the house. Popped stock CDI in and new waterbox off ebay and now you hit the button and about the 2nd revolution it fires up. MIne was the Riva CDI of course it was old also, purchased back in the day prob when it first came out.

good luck man hope you get it figured out

Okay now it won't rev past 4000 with the stock cdi. Tuning carb makes no difference....stator out of adjustment or bad?

having trouble with mine as well, he carb is not sucking in gas. and when i compress the gas tank, gas leak out of that side plate on the carb. i tried tightening it but it still leaks

Ok so timing is set on stator now. I still cannot get ski to start with stock cdi or riva cdi. Both get spark. When I pull plugs they are wet. Also, when I let go of start button I hear a knock or a clank not sure where it is coming from.... my guess is starter or Bendix. Please share any thoughts. Thanks.
