Surfriding Word just in OFFICIALLY CANCELLED

Word just came in too many complications due to the last minute nature of the salvage operation.

Beach Bash is canceled.

Chief of police literally asked us to relay his apologies and the message that it was not the cities doing that caused this cancelation.

They were extremely easy to work with and did go above and beyond to try and help in the last hours.

We will have a plan b for those coming. Stay tuned.

Looks like Rad Dudes will just take this one a a neg. Sucks that this event was such a great setup and could have been as big as Wavedaze or even Daytona one day.

You guys have no idea how much time and money goes into these events from Sponsor like Jetmaniac and Rad Dudes for this one before the event. And then for an event to not happen. It just sucks.

It totally sucks for the sponsors, I agree.

As for riding, I have a brig 4x4 permit and am currently up firing my truck to haul 3 stand ups, if the ride spot is the cove I don't mind helping shuttle skis

I'd just like to thank the Chuck's and all the others involved in trying to save this event. I'm bummed as I was really looking forward to this, and while I'm sure you all will have a great time, it just costs me too much to chance it. I'm going to hit the local spots. Good luck to the rest of you, and I hope that you guys will get a turnout next year.
