it is not great for freeride, the welds are known from breaking loose, can even come loose enough to slide back into your prop, happened to a friend of mine, I use to run one when I raced, but not good for freestyle.

I have one of these too,

only its had the stuffer cut off and has been welded to a Jet Dynamics grate.

Quite a nice little combo although i couldnt really tell any difference from my R&D pro 2 aquavein

Can you expand on that Wax? I thought it was the best intake grate (201?) with a stuffer for better hookup & more topend. A racing grate to be sure. So how does it make the ski not handle on corners?

I had a pump stuffer on my red boat....I never noticed much difference in handling/cornering (in the surf)..but with my ported motor and mag pump I gps'd my ski at 56 still climbing then I got tossed off never to try THAT again....

Again, this was with a mag pump.....

what the stuffer does it really just shallow up the pump cavity so less volume of water passes thru..I talked with da wolf one day and he told me it woundnt HURT bottom end, but definatly not a mod FOR bottom end....

WAX is on Crack again................

That great is the shiznet for racing, hookup in the turns is great, but personal preference causes all of us to get on crack at some point or another!!!!!!

Yeah, I've found that the stuffer isn't much good for cornering, but it does love the surf, especially for hookup after landing from jumps, etc.

I swap between a 205 and a stuffer for race and surf respectively.

I have a worx with the stuffer sitting on my shelf. I agree with Waxhead. Didnt like it much for cornering. Top end added about 2mph but I like the hook-up of my R&D limited race grate.

That being said I am going to try it again this summer because I never tried it with my R&D side sponsons. Mabye it will make a difference.

I have a Worx pump stuffer sitting around also. I didn't try it last year because I read that it causes your stock pump shoe to crack. I bought an aluminum shoe this year so I guess I am going to try it.

hmmm... i was told that my ski had the worx pump shoe stuffer, but it doesn't look like it...

my grate is connected to something that looks like two wings folded up and around the pump shoe cavity for support. i think i need to take some pics of it, but i keep my skis at my parents house.
