Would you run theses cases are tgey worth selling

Just to make it clear im not selling these a friend bought them and he sent them to me to assemble his motor i have an issue putting these together and the seller thinks they are fine whats your. Opinions

The mating surfaces are raised where the damage is it would never seal air leak =lean

No probally not. Could also b some hairline cracks u can't c as well

Not without some inspection for cracking and then repair work

since that chewed edge doesnt really seal anything, you could put it together as long as the rest of the mating surfaces were true and would hold a gasket. i wouldnt use those on anything good, but if it was just a gutless beater 701, its not going to be anything you would notice. not worth buying cases like that, i know i wouldnt. what caused that chew mark? somebody trying to pry the cyl off?

Yes the seller used a pry bar to separate tge cyl from the cases
