What a great weekend. Got to spend time some really old friends. Meet New Friends. Totally wiped out right now. Will make a longer post later one. Just want to give a big shout out to The Georgia Jet Pirates for bringing the fun back to jetskiing. Cause that is what this weekend was. Pure fun. From the riding, wrenching, walking around talking to new and old friends. Drinking one or two dozen beers. Hand full of shots. To everybody pitching in on a great dinner Saturday night. And staying up late partying like we were college kids. And to having good friends walk you back to your camper when you are butt ass wasted. To waking up to a story about a guy putting on his bathing suit only to have a spider in them which proceeds to bite his pecker. Yes. That did happen. Not to me but we may have promised Pablo that we would not mention it. So don't say anything. But the best part was one of his best friend saying "sorry dude, I'm not gonna suck the venom out! ". What a weekend.

Man, I had to look up that bug as I had never seen anything like it before. If my research is correct, it's a Wheel bug, (Arilus Cristalis) which is a cousin to the Assassin bug....not a pleasant guest anywhere much less one's underpants.

I had to fly to Denver right out of the ride and present at a conference this morning: I still had the shakes from Saturday night's excesses and every muscle ached from riding! I believe feeling that crappy while making the keynote speech in front of a bunch of people is the mark of having had a really spectacular weekend.
