For Trade WTT: my 2008 Honda CBR 1000rr + ?

Not sure if the mods will remove this, but I am looking to trade for a SKI.

Well, I've realized recently that I spend a lot more time with toys on the water than toys on the road and I've decided to part ways with my 2008 Honda CBR1000rr Fireblade. it has 12k miles on it, zero mechanical issues, and has some nice mods (full yoshimura exhaust, lots of carbon) with all the replaced OEM parts included. I'd estimate its value between $7-8k based on similar listings in my area.

I'm interested in a flip ski - something like a older Krash foot rocket or Rickter - doesn't need to look perfect, and doesn't need to have insane power. I'm 5'10" - 170lbs... I'm really looking for a way to get into the sport to determine if it's something I enjoy before I go full idiot and spend $30k on a toy.

If someone has an extra ski and would rather have an insanely fast sport bike maybe we can make a deal.

I've got a couple nice older Sea-doo's as well that have been updated cosmetically and are water ready...3 toys for 1???

I'm in the Bay Area California - Let me know if you are interested!

Might help to put pics up. We do not have a WTT section. But this would be the section to put it in. Your not trying to sell your bike, your looking to buy a ski with payment as your bike..........

You're 'looking to get into the sport' but are looking for a flip ski? Why not start with a stock SJ or something along those lines? To me the best part of this sport is to keep learning new things and challenging yourself. If you are going to just buy your way into backflips you are going to miss out on most of the fun. One man's opinion of course. Plus many of the flip skis are one hit wonders. Great to flip, but uncomfortable to ride and not made for recreational riding or chasing boat wakes.

@SXIPro I appreciate the advice! I suppose I should clarify though... the sport I'm looking to get into is specifically "flat-water freestyle riding" not jet-skiiing in general... I have a couple JS550's (and a JS300 lol) and some sit-downs for other fun activities... There are some extremely talented freestyle riders in my close orbit and I'd like to take advantage of the oportunity to learn from them while I can... I'm 38 and just getting into freestyle so "buying my way in" is more about remaining time left in these knees lol I don't mind being stuck in the marina if the intent is just to practice and learn new tricks to continuously challenge myself...
