650/X-2 x-2 prices

Hi guys I could use your help. Im new to jetsking and have been wanting a stand up. I live in buffalo ny and have not been able to find one close enough. Although I did find an x-2 that I think might be fun, im just not sure if its worth the mony. Its a 89 with minor mods and a completely redone hull. Hes asking 1200, is it worth that? Also what should I be looking for when I go to look at it. Thanks guys for any help as where i dont know what im looking for

Should be worth that if it's clean and runs good. They are becomming more and more rare.

Look for signs of wear and rot. Excessive corrosion, loose anything, etc.

Do a compression test, and try to look at the impeller for dings or chips.

if the ski is perfect it probably is worth 1200. But you can never know if it's perfect until after you've been riding it around. If it turns out it needs a few things that 1200 number is a bit high. I would think 800 would be a more reasonable price (depending on the mods).

1200 is high in my area but it also depends on the mods and what compression it has
