Any one useing the stock bolt spring, to "float" the weight of the hand pole. I have a blowsion spring in my tool box. On this spring after the coil both ends are straight which look as if it will dig in to the pole w/ use. I have the two bolt over tighen right now and thats getting old.

To put the single bolt in the hand pole bracket has to be removed to get a straight angle. So I want to be sure before I start.

You could probably get the rubber bumper from a Kaw 750 pole spring to fit over the end of the Blowsion spring. That would protect the pole.

enzo I understand about the washer. But The spring in my photo just wont work could this be one of the "badones" blowsion made and recalled them. Take a look at the photo again shouldnt each end be leaving the coiled section oposite each other. With that spring when the pole is off if you insert the long end of the spring into the hole in the pole bracket the other end is aiming forward, parallel to the ski. You cant even pull that end upward enough to get the pole down over it. It seems it would dig right into the hand pole if it was possable. Even the other style spring w. the bend will not fit in that area. Any more help here would be great.

My UMI spring is bent at the end that goes into the pole and doesn't hurt it like you are worried about the blowsion doing. The other end is digging into my wammer bracket though, but I don't really care, no way it rubs all the way through SS that thick, and if it did it still wouldn't hurt anything.

My spring looked just like yours. I put the spring in place by pre-loading one of the arms. Was a pain in the but to get lined up while keeping the spring tensioned. Hope that helps.
