Freestyle Xmetal pole limiting rope

I just got an adjustable Xmetal pole and I am looking for a place to mount my limiting rope and I really do not want to drill into the handle pole. Any suggestions on where to mount the limiting rope and with what and how?

Replace one of the adjustment alien bolt with a longer one and put the angle bracket there to clip to.

Pole pad hits way before eye bolt. Never had any problems with this setup.

That's a great idea, never thought of using the center nut with an eyebolt.

I just drilled a small hole behind the steering. My pole isn't new but it's clean AF but whatever it was the best way to go it's not going anywhere and my hood pad can stay where it is

I drilled an additional hole in the channel where the pole adjusts and just used a umi limiting rope attachment on the bottom. Still adjusts like it was designed to there is just one more bolt to loosen

My Xscream steering system has a angled plate with a hole to my limiting rope. I never gave it a thought, that it might be something "custom made"

I ended up removing my middle bolt on the pole and putting in an I bolt for my limiting rope. I was too nervous to want to start drilling on the pole
