Freestyle Xmetal vs. Thrust Carb adaptors

Has anyone used the Xmetal carb adaptors/risers in comparison to the Thrust adaptors. I know the Thrust ones sit much lower. I'm wondering if the Xmetal adaptors are too high to allow OEM flame arrestors fit under AM hulls/hoods.

I had some on my 44s from xmetal. The were fine in the xft and sj with a tem hood. I switched to the dasa intake which was taller from r&d then they didnt work. I ended up ditching the risers and just cutting the oem flame arrestors till they fit and allowed enough air.
