Super Jet xr tech or jet dynamics?

I need a pump shoe and intake grate for my superjet because they are broken. which is better in your opinion. i was planning on JD deep scoop(2007 sj) and blowsion pump shoe. xr tech is cheaper so i might go with it. i ride in a little rougher water sometimes. any suggestions would be appreciated. thanks.

Good observation. The 1000cc motors can run a 1 degree lower pitch prop with an XR-tech grate compared to the same driveline with a JD grate. The XR grate pushes more water into the pump because it have more blade/surface area. Not the best thing for every setup (buying a $140 grate and needing a $300 prop to tune it in) but for most riders it works very well. The more power you have, the more noticable the difference will be.

i took my first ride yesterday on my sj but have no pics. the xr tech hooked up great even in small lake chop. all i can say is WOW the sj 701 has sooo much more power than an old 550.
