Have you done it or know anyone who has??

I think I could do it with trial and error.....but would rather know what works and what doesnt if possible.

First you start off with the plug wires because thats the most important part, you cut the old plug wires back by the coil then you splice on some Blue automotive wire with some butt connectors ,clear nail polish and black elect tape, after you have done that the rest is easy.

You sir have a good memory! Now throw in the fact that you know you are absolutely right and everyone else is wrong even though you asked their opinion.

Sorry Dirk, I couldn't resist.

You guys are forgetting the most important part... NEVER use a B-Pipe. They are overpriced and cant produce nearly the same power as a coffman or protec pipe.

I dont think I have ever said "dont use a factory pipe".......but rather I have said they are OVER-PRICED AND OVER-RATED for the price.........I even tell people that when I am selling them myself.

I have compared Factory B-pipe's to Coffman, protec, riva etc.......... not the huge difference in power I would expect for a huge price difference!

ger87410 - if I can get a yamaha 650 motor to mount up, that means a 701 or 760 would also drop in

I'm subscribing in the hope that someone actually has some info here instead of cheap digs. I think it would be an interesting build! Might have to come up with some interesting exhaust to get it to fit...

Its not that hard to do. 701 into the js hulls turns out is rediculously easy to do, and ive even seen someone around me put a seadoo 720 motor in the 300sx. (Sure he WAS a moron and the entire thing ran and looked like :):):):) but whatever... props to the fact that he was an old, fat, moron)

If you have a welder and a angle grinder you can put any motor into any hull. (within actual reasonable size limitations....)

And yes... most/all x2 builds are junk.

As soon as all the 550 BS is all sold and gone,I will be starting on another build on the 300SX .My son has decided he doesn't like pole skis,he wants a flat deck, fixed steering 300SX with at least a 650 motor,I will also be throwing in a new 650 pump tunnel and pump and a 900XZI shaft setup for good measure.Yeah I might know a lil sumpin sunmpin about putting a bigger engine in a 300SX.Hell its as good an excuse as any I guess.
