650/X-2 Yamaha 650 Driveline Install

Hey guys I'm putting a yami drivshaft back together and the shaft that goes inside the bearing and seal (before connecting to the pump shaft) doesn't seem like it is in as fare as the old one???


Do you have to press the shaft in to a certain point??

Yep it needs to be pressed in think its like 20mm. If you look in the tech section or search Jetmaniac he does a very good write up about how to do the mid shaft and what to look for when installing it.
