Ya they are fun with a 701 not to sure about a 550! He obviously doesn't know what he has so ya I would offer him $1000 or less. If it runs good its easily worth $1500+

I would go see if it actually has a 550 motor in it or a 701 and not say anything.. Then snag it up if it has a 701 for sure.

I was going to say I think the only motors the fx came with was the 650 and the 701. Don't quote me on that but the only skis that where stand ups and came with the 550 are the kawi js550 and the kawi 550sx.

I've never heard of a fx1 to have a 650 motor i thought they were all 701's

Yeah, you can see he has a Yam Waveventure on the other side of the FX. Maybe he didnt do any research and thinks the FX is the same value as a 550. You never know!

I put a 650 in a FX-1 with a cheater pipe for my Daughter a few years back, it had pretty decent power.
