I have a 701 bored to 763 with stock charging electrics except for MSD enhancer ignition. Prior to my starting issues I noticed water in the Ebox. Press start button on the S/S switch and nothing. 1st thing I tried was to jump start solenoid and ski fired up. I changed the start solenoid; no change. Next I took power from start solenoid to brown wire on S/S switch plug to Ebox and ski fired up. I changed S/S switch 1st with my back up and then with one that SmittySX gave me; no change. I then changed over to another Ebox so that I now have a new (used) coil, rectifier (I think that's what that's called), and coil; no change. Then I changed the MSD to a stock ignition; no change. In the meantime I dis and reconnected all the wires and cleaned them and the grounds. The battery is fully charged and the ski still fires up instantly when I either jump the solenoid or put power to the quick connect plug on the S/S switch brown wire. When I start the ski, I shut it off using the stop button. Any ideas????? I sent a PM yesterday and today to JetManiac to purchase an Ebox and S/S switch assembly (Chris let me know on Mon. he has the parts), but I can't stop trying to figure this out while I'm waiting. All the parts that I'm working with are used, so there's no guarantee that I'm not putting bad on bad, but without a volt meter it's all I can do. :thinking:
