SX/SXi/SXi Pro Bilge Question

Anyone know where I can order a bilge mount for an 95 SXI. I know they are out there. Also, where does it mount too? Where does the mount position the bilge? All I can find online is mounts for the PRO.

Many will tell you to forget the mount and just 5200 it straight to the hull. Rough up the hull under the driveshaft, apply adhesive to the bilge "grill" base and hull, let it set up, snap in your bilge and your good to go. Mine has been holding strong for 3 years now. The brackets really don't get the bilge low enough in my opinion.

Kyle just use the rule float switch and it will turn off and on by it's self, just point the float to the front of the ski other wise it will come on all the time. just epoxy it to the bottom of the hull right beside the coupler and put your bilge on the other side.

Thanks, Tony. The ski had a float switch when I got it, but it was broke. The pump still works, but I need to buy a switch. Eric says he has a new one in his attic. I really wonder what all he has up there haha. The ski is starting to look pretty good.

5200, like a previous post. I put mine in front of the bulkhead right under the prop shaft. You can order the Rule 500gph from Overtons or get it from any local boat store for maybe $30. I used an auto switch from ORiellys Auto Part store, $5. I used Goop glue and attached it to my bars close to my left thumb. Never had any issues so I don't know why you'd pay big dollars for something that is 'waterproof'. See my ski thread below, you can almost see the switch on the right side of the start/stop switch.

sorry to jack but while were on the topic im sure this will help m,e and every one else, do they make a scupper? valve or one way valve to stop water from coming in the bilge hole? i mounted the exit on mine right above the battery on the side, it seems i take on a lot of water from it...

Hmmmm, never had that problem, hadn't really heard it either. Maybe yours is located too low. Mine is maybe 3 inches above the bond flange/bumber... see pic below.

Yes they have a ball valve that you can put inline, I think overtons have it in the boat bilge section.
