Super Jet is my pulser coil bad?

02 Superjet with msd enhancer... was only getting spark when letting off start button... jumped out switch still same problem... ohmed out stator coils an they seemed fine.. ohmed out plug wires they seemed fine.. didnt swap white wires cause i never disconnected em from when it last ran.. grounds seemed fine.. checked AC output on stator coils an pulser reads 2.3v AC... I read its supposed to read 4-5v... so is my stator what's causing the problem?? I don't have a cdi to swap out.. my blaster has 61x electrics an I here the msd in that is not compatible... could I still try swapping out the coils between them?

Msd enhancer is the same for all 701s both 61x and 62t.

I literally JUST had this problem this weekend. Only had spark for a split second when I let off the start switch. I had an old MSD enhancer in. Swapped in a new MSD and had spark back nice and strong. Apparently this is a common symptom of a dead enhancer. Try a new CDI.

I also just had this issue! I ran a wire from the MSD enhancer to my neg battery terminal and now it works great.

I called MSD and they said the number one reason for them not working right is because of a bad ground.

Had the same issue with an MSD Enhancer due to a discrepancy in their instructions. Makes for great backfires.
