No, it's light in color and light in texture.
I spray the crap out of my bilge after every ride (including pump). Once it builds up too much just wash it down with WD40 and you are back to square one.

I have used it on all my skis and never had an electrical or rust related problem.

A lot of times its just a break in the plugs wires usually towards the caps. Cutting them back and making sure the caps are secure solve many saltwater issues. the motor gets wet and the spark will follow the path of least resistance, which usually means it arcs on to your head pipe.

Modded Stock CDI no MSD
Spare Coil
Regreased all my electric fittings
light coat of axle grease on both sides of fresh CDI gasket and boots(been working REALLY well)
6 pairs of plugs
WD40 all over/in electric box and engine
Fresh switch coated in epoxy on all seals with rubber boot over toggle
Brand new Jetworks battery and tender/charger
Check torque on all head bolts, pipe, clamps, etc
spare battery
bringing my own tools


Yup....I think I'm alright.... I'll be tieing my tow ropes on when I get to daytona since my tralor uses the bow eye to latch

Always Assume The Guy In Front Of You On A Wave Is Doing A Re-entry Type Move.... Do Not Ever Follow Another Rider Over A Wave Or Up To A Wave.... If A Person Is Surfing A Wave, Get Out Of The Way... They Are On The Wave And The Wave Is Theirs Till They Exit.

No Riding Paralell To The Beach At High Speeds. You Will Be Removed From The Water Asap

No Riding Paralell To The Beach Behind A Wave... If You Can't See What's Over The Front Of A Wave Head Out To Sea And Around Till You Can. Do Not Go Blindly Up The Back Of A Breaking Wave... I Can Not Strees This Enough.

Stay Away From Other Riders... Do Not Double Up An A Wave W/ Someone Unless You Are Flipping Side By Side Or Rolling...

Remember That There Are Plenty Of Waves... Don't Risk A Move If You Might Be Close To Someone... Wait It Out

someone drew a diagram, last year, on pwct with paintbrush..... i cant remember if it was for sebastian or daytona but it was pretty handy because 'most' people followed it.

i think it looked something like this....

thats exactly how we ride at our spot. In two circles rotating in opposite directions with plenty of space to see where the guy in front is and plenty of time to stop or turn if he is in the water.
