Carbs flooding out from excess tank pressure??

D-Roc

I forgot!
Do a search. It's been discussed enough. The oem tank will vent out after certain psi. Of course Yamaha engineers thought of this. They vented it up the pole. Not the engine bay. What are you guys new?

Oem vent does have a secondary pop off for over pressue so do aftermarket vents. Here Is the thing everyone has over looked oem is pop open at +7psi in tank and aftermarket seem to pop open around 10 or 12psi. Done believe me use a pop off testing gauge same as the pop off gauge you would use to test pop off pressure on the carb. Test the vent backwards. Colored fuel line does not create good seal and allows access pressure to pass by and not flood out motor. If you can't find a solution to the problem create a solution which would be putting in a shut off valve and leaving the vent open or cap loose
