How much do I need to pull apart my SBN to soak it in chem dip/carb cleaner? Just the normal disassemble like I'm putting a rebuild kit in it or do throttle shafts and other crap need to come out for some reason?

That Chen dip will swell any rubber left on the carbs... not sure what the throttle shafts seals are made from.. if rubber then you'll want to pull the blades and shafts and seals....

They look pretty clean. Just scrape away the crusty crap with a pic or small flathead screwdriver. Use carb cleaner to spray through all the holes. The use compressed air and go through everything again. Use only mikuni carb kits. They seal the best. If the throttle shafts are stiff, different story. Then maybe pull them.

chem dip it. I did what you said multiple times through a season and could never get my ski to run right. Chem dipped the carbs and she has ran perfect since.

Thats exactly why I was gonna dip it. But I forgot about the throttle shaft possibly having seals, don't have new ones here, and need to ride tomrrow. So carb cleaner only it is for now. Perhaps I'll dip it next week if it still runs badly.
