@x-jetter: I am curious if you have a total loss or an ignition that uses a modified
stock flywheel?
Me either. Usually the crown fell apart first.
Same process. Detonation Destroys, and Preignition Melts. The only difference between
a crown melting into a port and the center of the piston is X-Jetter's spark plug was the
preignition source and when a crown melts into a transfer or exhaust port, the preignition
source is a sharp edge on the piston crown caused by previous detonation seizures.
