First Mods to my 2021 Superjet...What do you think?

Hey I just ordered:
1) ProWaterCraft quick steer kit
2) ProWaterCraft Freeride plate

Does anyone have any experience with both installed. I am looking to be able to release the back in corners and slide it and give it more of a nimble freestyle feel.
Also looking at the handlebar relocator as I found the handlebars felt a little too far out than what I was used to. In fact, it almost seemed dangerous, as they seemed to be too close to my front leg when turning.

Yea I got bruised by the bars at the tops of my legs on some big air - riva steering on the way. The pw plate is a big improvement it’ll slide out but not noticeably more mine still hooks pretty aggressively.. maybe due to the wider hull..?

Can you send me the link to the steering system you are using. I am still a newbie on this stuff and don't want to get the wrong one.

Hey guys,
I purchased an AM ride plate for my SJ. I have never installed one of these before, does anyone have any tips on how to do it.
I get the lock tight on the bolts but where should I put the silicone adhesive? Thanks.

And you may want to rethink using red loctite. lf you ride fresh water, maybe blue. But if you ever ride in salt, don’t use either.Lucas Red n Tacky grease and tighten it down.

just call riva and ask them for a package deal on the steering system - it's not bundled together on their site. they knocked a good bit off for me but noted I'm a repetitive customer.

I just put some where the factory had - at the raised mating surfaces at each bolt and then a thin bead across the leading edge of the RP, then smooth it out as soon as you tighten it up. And as Sano said - I used a drop of blue on the first few threads and then silicone on the remaining threads.

I took mine off to do a cable. I didn’t see any silicone but I may have been inattentive.

new steering will help that a lot. Do you have your steering cable ball adjusted for max throw of the nozzle?
I haven't done anything to the stock machine yet. I was so disappointed in the handling, I had put it up for sale an hour after buying it. But then I found these am parts might actually make it fun to ride. How do I learn how to make the cable adjustment you are referring to?

There's like 3 holes you can set the ball in up on the turnplate where the bars mount. Put the ball in the outside hole. You'll then have to make a few adjustments to the cable up top and at the jet to re-center the nozzle. Its in the manual too
